We accept most major insurance plans for reconstructive services. Some insurance plans do require referrals and prior authorizations, so it is best to check with your insurance carrier first. We require a credit or debit card on file prior to performing elective / non-emergent reconstructive surgery. Once the insurance has paid their portion and determined the patient financial responsibility, we will then charge that payment to the card on file, up to $500. For patient responsibility greater than $500, we will contact the patient to determine what form of payment they would like to use to pay the remainder. Cosmetic consults and procedures done at the Skin Care Center are paid when the service is provided. Cosmetic surgery services must be paid one week prior to the surgery.
