Our plastic surgeons are burn surgeons, from the beginning of the trauma to possible scar revisions after wounds have healed, we can work with you through this and it can be a long process- sometimes months to years. Reconstructive skin surgery can help reduce scarring and restore appearance once the wounds heal. We can use a number of different techniques to decrease the size and appearance of scarring, even help with mobility if scars have contracted or become tight.
