Dean H. Weber, MD

Dean H. Weber, MD joined Northland Plastic Surgery in July of 1996 and became a partner in the practice in January 2000. A native of southwestern Minnesota, he attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. He received his MD from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He continued at Washington University where he completed his General Surgery residency followed by his Plastic Surgery residency.

Dr. Weber serves as the Medical Director of the Burn Center at Essentia Health in Duluth, a post he has held intermittently since 2001. He served as Miller-Dwan’s Chief of Staff from 2006 to 2009. Dr. Weber was a member of the board of directors for Lakewalk Surgery Center in Duluth from its inception in 1999 until 2021, and has also served as a member of the Minnesota chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Dr. Weber is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Burn Association. He has written papers and made presentations to colleagues on the subjects of wound healing, hand, and carpal tunnel surgery.

Outside the practice, Dr. Weber enjoys spending time with his daughters and includes them in many of his favorite activities — on the golf course or hiking in the woods in the summer, and on the ski slopes in the winter.
